This has been a crazy week but I got alot accomplished as far as scrapbooking.

Here are my layouts that I did this week. All of these were for Challenges at DSO. Whoo hooo I am the Guest CT for LouCeeCreations for the month of July. This should be lots of fun because she is a wonderful designer. She has a beautiful part of a kit over at DSO it is part of the July PickUrBits French Country Kit. Here is a layout I did with that kit. Be sure and go pick up this kit it is awesome!

Ok....so I have a facebook friend who is funny, smart, ambitious and all kinds of other great things. Well today she really touched a part of my soul. She has a blog (one of many) called Be a Life Writer . Today I stopped by her blog and checked out her challenge.

I usually have a hard time writing my most deep inner thoughts, fears and feelings, because I think in my day to day life I do not want anyone to see the pain I feel. I always try to be upbeat and not really let anyone in to knowing the true "me". If people knew the "real me" they wouldn't want to be around "me".

After checking out her challenge and reading what she has written I think I need to take the plunge and dig deep down and find out who I truly am and why I am ME. I am not sure if I will actually post my layouts...maybe I will....I think just biting the bullet and writing down my honest deep down feelings may be benificial.

If you are also one of those people who do not let people know the real you maybe this could be a therapy for you also.

So the world is probably coming to an end! Another blog post in the same month....that makes 3 now...I am steaming right along!!! Plus I got a layout done. Now the layout isn't that big of a deal as I have made about 35 layouts recently for my Aunt & Uncles anniversary but this one I did just cuz I could. I bought this kit here at Digi Scrap Obsession ! The kit was made by http://diheuser.blogspot.com/ it is called Moody Blues and I grabbed this kit at just the right time because she is retireing it. This kit will only be available today and tomorrow so if you want to own it hope on over to Digi Scrap Obsession and nab it for only $2.25!

Over the weekend of the 18th and 19th I was able to go to Montrose Colorado for my Aunt and Uncles 50th wedding anniversary and was able to see my cousins (I only have 2). Now I have seen my cousin Penny over the years here and there but I hadn't seen my cousin Darrel in about 20 years so it was pretty special to get to visit with him. I had used the top picture in the layout for the anniversary album and thought it would be cool to have my picture taken with them so I could do a Then and Now layout.

Yup seriously I am getting another post in all in a matter of a couple of days!!! Whooo Hooo for me.

Part of the reason I am posting this blog is so that I can participate in a friends blog giveaway. Bunny Cates is having a Calgon Giveaway here on her blog....Take Me Away. Part of the contest is tell the world why I need a little relaxation in my life......seriously does anyone who knows me not know why I need a little relaxation???? Well then let me tell ya why!!

I just finished a year long project of planning my Aunt and Uncles 50th wedding anniversary. In between all of that We moved in February...god I do not want to EVER move again!!! We have had several foster kids in and out within the last year and we are taking a little break right now from foster care until Dave and I get our physicals which will be sometime after the middle of July. The twins just turned 7...where has the time gone? They will be in 2nd grade this year. Trevor is a feisty 3 year old and for being so premature he has really came along way this year. Keeping up with him daily is a chore!!!

Last nite I was fortunate to be able to go take maternity pictures of my nephew and his wife. This is their second child and she is due any time now. So that is exciting.

If I were to win the giveaway I could go lock myself in the bathroom away from the 5 children and 3 grown children and the hubby and visit the magic world of relaxation and have all of the buff studley fantasy men wait on me hand and foot...feeding me chocolate covered strawberrys and champaign!!! Oh yeah they can rub my feet also (cuz everyday by the end of the day my feet are killing me). Now I know I can go and buy my own box of Calgon but I never remember to buy myself those type of things!

So you all need to go and check out Bunny's blog ... she is a great person!

Here we are again almost 1 year later!!

Ok so here I am again...after almost a year...at least I am consistant...lol... I am going to set a new goal for blogging more than once a year.

We have had a busy year. We moved in February and now are in a beautiful house that we love.

Just came back from Montrose Colorado where I co-hosted my Aunt and Uncles 50th Wedding Anniversary. We had alot of fun and I think they had a great time.

I have a few things up my sleeve to make a little money on the side...I may start doing some digital scrapping for hire, making candy bar wrappers, and found a really cute craftsy angel to make. In the last year I have dabbled in some jewelery making so may incorporate that also. Now I just have to figure out all of the logistics. If anyone has any ideas on things I need to consider in order to make this successful let me know!

Ok spent most of the day trying to redo this blog. Still needs more work done on it...oh well maybe tomorrow.

Today we had an unexpected visit from two little girls who we had as foster girls for about 9 months. They got to go back home with their parents last summer and this was the first time we had gotten to see them since they left. They all looked good and are doing great!! The one little girl wanted to stay and play longer and I told mom that they were welcome to come over any time. It is great to see a family get back on track and keep their kids. This is why I do foster care. What a great day!!

Well as we all can see I have really kept up with this blogging stuff. It has been about 2 years since I posted. That cute little extreme preemie that I talked about in my last post is now almost 3 years old and we adopted him in November of 2008. His name is Trevor.

I have started school back up and am working to get my Associates Degree in web design.

I do not do alot of scrapping anymore as time is at a premium for me.

The twins are going into first grade and our little Trevor will be starting pre-school in a couple of weeks. Because he was an extreme preemie he is still a little behind for his age so at only 2 1/2 he will be off to school already. This makes me sad but I know it is for his best interest.

We are remodeling our garage and making it into a study (for me) and a dining room. It isn't done but it is usable so we are using it and working around things.

Well maybe I will keep up better with this blog but we will see!!

3 months later...almost

Well another 3 months have gone by and I haven't written in my blog. We have 3 new foster children and that keeps me busy. We have a 2 year old boyand a 10 month old little girl....they are brother and sister and then we have a 7 month old extreme preemie little boy. He was born at only 25 weeks gestation. He is like a 2 month old right now. So needless to say I haven't done any layouts and haven't done a whole lot of anything else either except taking care of kids. My oldest daughter and her two kids were living with us and they moved out so I have been rearranging bedrooms. Well that is about it for now but maybe soon I will be able to find a few minutes to write and do some layouts....yeah right

Ok so I have been very very naughty and not kept up with my blog like I wanted to. I have been busy with kids and life in general. I am really hopeing that I get with the program and do things I need to do.

Well I decided I would try this blog stuff for my digi scrapping so we will see how it goes. I am not sure what I am doing, so this ought to be loads of fun. When I figure things out I will have freebies and maybe some full size kits for sale or something.....as usual I have just jumped into doing this with no clear idea of what is to come.

So it might just be an interesting journey.....just hop on and we might even have some fun along the way...ya never know.
